In this Green Gables Preschool Activity kit, your child can trace the path Anne takes home from Avonlea school, using a marker to encourage pre-writing skills. Then they can count different things Anne sees on her walk (outlined in the text to the side of the art) and trace the circles her hat makes. You could even talk about colors you see with your child. In the Avonlea Preschool your child will learn about the letter A (A for Anne) and practice forming the letter as well as color in the apple red. Next, your little one will practice their scissor skills with supervision. Help Anne get ready for tea by cutting around the tea cup, plate and pie. Then serve the pie by cutting out all the slices. Next, your child can help put together Green Gables by cutting out and glueing the windows in place.
